Rory Driscole is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with extensive trial experience and a distinguished career in public service. A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Rory is a graduate of Freedom High School.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Virginia University, graduating summa cum laude and earning induction into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Rory went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where he distinguished himself through both academic and practical experience. While at Duquesne, he participated in the Criminal Law Clinic as a certified intern with the Allegheny County Office of Conflict Counsel and served as the law school representative for Duquesne University Student Government. During his summers, Rory gained valuable courtroom exposure interning for the Honorable Judge Emil Giordano and the Northampton County Office of the Public Defender.

Following his graduation in 2012, Rory joined the Northampton County Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender. Over the course of his tenure, he has taken on significant responsibilities, including serving as the principal Juvenile Court attorney while also maintaining a full adult criminal caseload. He later transitioned to become the lead attorney for the Northampton County Mental Health Court Program, a position he held through 2026. Rory brings substantial trial experience to his practice, including handling complex and high-stakes cases. Notably, he has successfully defended multiple homicide cases, securing acquittals for his clients.

In addition to his courtroom work, Rory is a published legal author. He was co-published in the 2016–2017 edition of Inside the Minds: Defense Strategies for Drug Crimes. His professional excellence has also been recognized by his peers—he was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2017 through 2020, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in the state.

Beyond his legal career, Rory is deeply committed to his community. He serves as a board member of the Children’s Home of Easton, where he previously held the role of Director from 2023 to 2025. He is also an adjunct professor at Lehigh University, teaching courses including Constitutional Law and Civil Liberties.
